Clement Alfred Cotnoir Gee. but I'm a busy man! Clement is a very busy gentleman. Hs is an all-round sports- mnn and likes football and baseball as his favorites. His lively wit and quest for fun may make you the object of one of his harmless, practical jokes. To b:- a welder is his ambition. Armand Louis Demazure He is of leu leeii. but eldom heard As one of the quieter members, Armand did not take an active interest in any one sport. Perhaps if hockey were installed as an additional activity, he would have come out with flying colors, since this is his favorite winter sport. His future work may be turned in the direction of photography. Orest Demchuk He is simply and staunclol true to his duty Orest came from Chicago during his sophomore year. He is a member of a hunting club and collecting guns is his hobby. Perhaps at some time he has personally shown some of us to our seats at the Universal Theater where he works as an usher. Orest has already decided that he would prefer a white collar job. Raymond Lucien Denis The It ill to do, the soul to dare Ray is quite a sportsman. His father takes him hunting and fishing in New Hampshire as well as in Massachusetts. Spike's closest friend is Clarence Green. Ray's greatest desire is to become a machinist after he receives his diploma this June. Paul George Desjeans Worry never clouds his cheerful thoughts Paul is a big, husky lad with a cheerful countenance at all times. He collects books as a hobby which probably accounts for his love of school. His favorite sports are hunting and fishmg. Although he may appear to be quiet, his fri;nds will assure you that he is a real gloom chaser. Arthur Arnea Dicker Filled uilh quiet strength Arthur is a quiet member of our class, who spends most of his time playing football, basketball, and hockey. He can be seen many afternoons at the Reipas Gym playing basketball with his friends. As for ihe future, his plans are not yet definite. Michael Angelo DiConza Only so much as I knou so I hare lived Mike is a medium built fellow with black hair and dark eyes. His hobby is photography. Football and basketball are two of his favorite sports. He is an active member of the Junior Sons of Italy Lodge. Rockie Pasquale can usually be seen with him and vice versa. Mike has hopes of joining the Navy. Michael James DiGeronimo The secret of success is constancy of purpose Michael is one of the sturdier members of our class. The fact that he is interested in good bands and popular orchestras must mean that he is musically inclined. He works as a clerk at a market in Leominster. BOULDER 1941 Frances Lew Currier ''As sweet a girl, as true a friend, as eier could be found Frannie is a jolly senior with a friendly smile. Her golden braids are the envy of all. Her lovely soprano voice is a great help in the glee club. With her winning personality, she should be suc- cessful in her work as a librarian. Basketball 2, 3; Glee Club 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4; French Club 2; Band 2, 3, 4. Wanda Marie Cyr Laughter and I are the best of friends Wanda has a sunny disposition and is always ready for a good time. She's the best gloom chaser you could meet in a day's travel. A bright, quick-thinking, and enthusiastic girl is Wanda and one who is inordinately fond of tripping the light fantastic. Pauline Margaret Degen Good nature and good sense are usually good com panions Pauline is an ardent follower of almost every sport, but skating heads the list. She also has a hobby of collecting photographs. Her popularity is quite evident among her many friends. Clerical work appeals to Pauline. Dorothy Laura Deloge A girl who is kind and cheerful in any circumstance Dot is a merry girl with a twinkle in her eye, which displays the fact that she's loads of fun. Her hobby is collecting toy animals of which she has many. To be a dietician is her ambition. Alice Nancy Dobson In faith, lady, you have a merry heart Alice is really not shy, but almost so. Her friendly smile and sunny disposition make her especially sweet and likeable. She is a dependable person who tries to do what she believes to be right. Each morning she gives a happy greeting to her schoolmates io start the day off right. French Club 2; Dramatic Club 3, 4; Glee Club 4. Elizabeth Ann Douai Gay as the rippling waters Betty is a typical fun-loving girl. She enjoys nearly every sport. Her hobby is collecting minerals, fossils, butterflies, and other biological specimens. She hopes to continue her studies m the field of science. Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4; Basketball 2, 3, 4; Ring Committee 3; Councilor 3; French Club 3, 4; Round Table 4. Elizabeth Jane Dufort Happy am I, from care I'm free, Why aren't they all contented like me Betty is full of vim and vigor and a real athlete. She is a loyal rooter for the football team and even though her cheering doesn't help much at times, she keeps smiling. Her ability to sink baskets has helped her team to win the championship for three years. Bas- ketball 2, 3, 4; Hockey 2, 3. 4; Volleyball 2, 3. Rosamond Eckfeldt Thou bring'st courtesy and wit, Two things that never fail to hit Roz's interests lean toward the athletic. We have heard a great deal about the football games that she and her colleagues have had. Knitting is her favorite pastime. Roz is a jolly girl with a rather reserved personality. BOULDER 1941 Roberta MacKenzie Edgerly What sweet delight a quiet life affords Roberta has been very quiet during her four years at high school, but those who know her find her full of fun. Stamp collect- ing and photography are her particular hobbies. Her industrious nature will surely help her to become a good dental hygenist. Dra- matic Club 2, 3, 4; Glee Club 3, 4. Lucy Katherene Erickson Sing away w noiv. ca l away care Lucy has a pleasing smile that lights up her face with friend- liness. She studies elocution and has entertained us often in the Dramatic club. Her favorite sports are skiing and swimming. Later, Lucy would like to take a course in beauty culture. Hockey 2 ; Dra- matic Club 2, 3, 4. Mildred Evelyn Erickson A light, happy heart lives long' Mildred goes in for sports in a big way, with basketball, volley- ball, hockey and several other athletics to her credit. She likes to take care of children and her work consists of just that. To prepare herself for hairdressing, she would like to attend the Wilfred Acad- emy. Volleyball, Basketball, Hockey 2, 3, 4 ; Aerial Darts 3 ; Ping Pong 2. Anna Virginia Farquhar She nobly earns whatever crown she wears Ginny is one of our star pupils and how sincerely we wish that all the praise due to hard-working, little-rewarded students might be accorded them. If it could be, Ginny should lead the parade of those who never ceased to work diligently to list their names among the honor students, and who always succeeded. Astronomy, amateur weather forecasting, and non-Euclidean geometry are her hobbies. To delve in astronomical and mathematical research is her ambition. Red and Gray Board 2, 3, 4; Hockey 4; Latin Club 3, 4; Round Table 4; Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4. Mary Florence Fava She is fair ivhose beauty only makes her gay Mary is one of the good natured and studious members of this class. Outside of school she takes part in many sports. For the immediate future she has no definite plans, but she thinks that teaching would appeal to her. Motto Committee 3; Basketball 2, 3, 4; Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4; Glee Club 4. Doris Hildergarde Feltman Take life too seriously, and what is it worth Dot, who comes from Westminster, is a small girl with black hair and sparkling eyes. What she finds to do all the time up there is certainly a mystery, but we all know that it isn't spent at home with a book. Dot would like to be a hairdresser. Thelma Fisher Cheerfulness smoothes the road of life Thelma is an attractive girl and a good dancer. She goes in for sports, and skating is the favorite one. Collecting coins is her hobby. She would like to be employed as a beautician. Hockey 2; Basket- ball 2. 3, 4; Dramatic Club 4. Reta Lillar Flagg A to rial claw mate, loyal and true Reta with her charming way has won a host of friends espe- cially among General Course students. Her hobby is sewing. Maybe that accounts for her good taste in clothes. At Worcester Trade she would like to take up hairdressing. Page 21
