BOULDER 1941 William Joseph Caulmare A uell-liked fellow William is said to be one of the best teller of tall tales in the whole class. At lunch and in the corridors he can frequently be h ard talking about his many expeditions and his experiments with guns, for these are his hobbies. Ou side of school he plays football, baske ball, baseball, and likes to swim. After school, William hopes to take to the air in eiiher the Army or Navy Air Corps. Dramatic Club 2. 3. John Francis Cefalo Young fellows will be young fellous John can always b; recognized by his loud exclamation of Ooh ! In this way he expresses his victories and defeats, joys and sorrows. His part-time course and after-school job with a local fruit store proves that he is not shy of work. In the future, he plans to go in business for himself. Joseph Samuel Colello Here is a jolly person and there is no doubting that Joe is easy going and believes in doing things moderately. In his quiet way he manages to have his share of fun. He doesn't seem to have any use for the opposite sex. Although he didn't play in school sports, he managed the football team. Joe plans to become a printer. Assistant Manager Football 3; Manager Football 4. Kent Rowley Collins In play there are two pleasures for your choosing. The one is winning and the other losing Kent is a good natured, easy going fellow. He doesn't seem to like studies but is interested in all major sports. He was assistant manager of the football team in his junior year. Football 2; Assist- ant Manager Football 3 ; Glee Club 3. Gerald Boyd Conley smile while the rest of the world goes by Hockey and particularly tennis appeal greatly to Jerry. As he is good natured he has made many friends. Whatever the future holds, Jerry's smile will help immensely in bringing him success. Band 2 ; Councilor 3. Joseph Lawrence Contessa Though I do not often speak, My mind holds many things Crusher, as the boys call him, is noted around school for his quick wit and boxing ability. His boxing ability is shown in the gymnasium when there are, shall we say — disputes. His quick wit is shown in the classroom and in the office when giving an excuse for being late. Crusher is, with all that, a serious lad who has the ambition to be a pattern maker. 1 Oi Henry Walter Cormier 7 was not born for court or great affairs Henry is a quiet young man from Cleghorn. Being quite active in sports outside of school, he plays football, baseball, and basket- ball. He is employed at a beano game in Cleghorn. Henry's ambi- tion is to become a coast to coast truck driver. Leon Michael Cormier Virtue alone is true nobility Leon is a quiet perrson of ideas and ambition. Outside of school hours he does landscaping. His favorite sports are hockey and baseball. As his hobby he pursues woodcraft. In the future he plans to be an air conditioning salesman for the Holland Company. Page 18

BOULDER 1941 Phyllis Esther Chapman A sunbeam in a winter's day Phyllis IS a wonderful singer and both she and her friend Frannie often sing at church functions. She is a ray of sunshine and helps brighten up anyone's day with her cheery countenance. Col- lecting post cards is her hobby. Later Phyllis is going to enter the business world. Glee Club 4. Barbara Mary Charbonneau A happy lit le lass, youthful and gay Barb has what might be called a dual personality. In school, she seems quiet and has a sort of peace with the world attitude. Out of school, her high friendly spirits liven up any gathering. Barb's full of pep and because she has better than average ability in athletics, sports provide an outlet for some of her energy. Dra- matic Club 2, 3, 4. Gloria Mary Cioffi A smile for all. a welcome glad. A jovial coaxing way she always had Gloria excels in most sports. She is cheerful and has a lively personality. Her abundant energy leads her to participate in various sports. If ever a sport of any kind is mentioned, she always shows a keen interest. She also dotes on fun making. Volleyball 2, 3, 4 ; Basketball 2, 3, 4; Hockey 2, 3, 4. Althea Marjorie Comley To all her gentle smile extends Althea doesn't participate in school functions, but she is a faithful member of several church organizations. She has a large group of friends and is always ready to help someone who is caught short. Althea is going to be a governess. And if her past achievements are any indication of her ability, we are sure she will succeed. Grace Florence Condon Her smile is like a rainboiv flashing from a misty day Grace seems quiet and unassuming while in school, but once outside she is quite a different girl. She is lively and good-humored and consequently has many friends. Although Grace doesn't take school or anythmg else very seriously, she gets along as well as those who do. As for the future, Grace plans to be a bookkeeper or a stenographer. Mary Olive Copp A light heart lives long Mary is a friendly girl with a willingness to help. Carefree and talkative, Mary is a good natured and fun loving lassie. Draw- ing holds her interest and judging by her work in art, she is des- tined to become an artist. Eva Elizabeth Cormier To the pure all things are pure Eva's outward conduct and neatness convey a pleasant impres- sion. She is sweet and likeable, and her sunny disposition tends to radiate happiness wherever she goes. Eva finds enjoyment in roller skating. Geneva Mary Cormier Here's a jolly per on and there' no doubting that Geneva is a quiet girl in school, but she makes up for that outside. Her lovely, brown, naturally curly hair is envied by many girls. Attending the Turner Hall athletic classes and skating take up most of her spare time. Hockey 2. Page 1 7

BOULDER 1941 Frances Lew Currier ''As sweet a girl, as true a friend, as eier could be found Frannie is a jolly senior with a friendly smile. Her golden braids are the envy of all. Her lovely soprano voice is a great help in the glee club. With her winning personality, she should be suc- cessful in her work as a librarian. Basketball 2, 3; Glee Club 4; Dramatic Club 3, 4; French Club 2; Band 2, 3, 4. Wanda Marie Cyr Laughter and I are the best of friends Wanda has a sunny disposition and is always ready for a good time. She's the best gloom chaser you could meet in a day's travel. A bright, quick-thinking, and enthusiastic girl is Wanda and one who is inordinately fond of tripping the light fantastic. Pauline Margaret Degen Good nature and good sense are usually good com panions Pauline is an ardent follower of almost every sport, but skating heads the list. She also has a hobby of collecting photographs. Her popularity is quite evident among her many friends. Clerical work appeals to Pauline. Dorothy Laura Deloge A girl who is kind and cheerful in any circumstance Dot is a merry girl with a twinkle in her eye, which displays the fact that she's loads of fun. Her hobby is collecting toy animals of which she has many. To be a dietician is her ambition. Alice Nancy Dobson In faith, lady, you have a merry heart Alice is really not shy, but almost so. Her friendly smile and sunny disposition make her especially sweet and likeable. She is a dependable person who tries to do what she believes to be right. Each morning she gives a happy greeting to her schoolmates io start the day off right. French Club 2; Dramatic Club 3, 4; Glee Club 4. Elizabeth Ann Douai Gay as the rippling waters Betty is a typical fun-loving girl. She enjoys nearly every sport. Her hobby is collecting minerals, fossils, butterflies, and other biological specimens. She hopes to continue her studies m the field of science. Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4; Basketball 2, 3, 4; Ring Committee 3; Councilor 3; French Club 3, 4; Round Table 4. Elizabeth Jane Dufort Happy am I, from care I'm free, Why aren't they all contented like me Betty is full of vim and vigor and a real athlete. She is a loyal rooter for the football team and even though her cheering doesn't help much at times, she keeps smiling. Her ability to sink baskets has helped her team to win the championship for three years. Bas- ketball 2, 3, 4; Hockey 2, 3. 4; Volleyball 2, 3. Rosamond Eckfeldt Thou bring'st courtesy and wit, Two things that never fail to hit Roz's interests lean toward the athletic. We have heard a great deal about the football games that she and her colleagues have had. Knitting is her favorite pastime. Roz is a jolly girl with a rather reserved personality.
