BOULDER 1941 Robert Abel Bourque Never over serious, not too friiol u , hut a rare, good fellow Bob is a quiet sort of chap, whose main interests seem to be sports and hobbies. He swims, skates, and goes bicycling and hiking to keep in condition. In his spare time he collects stamps and models things in soap. He also likes to dabble in electricity. In the future he plans to work in an office or a store. Glee Club 3, 4. George Mackay Brown The only uay to have a friend is to he one Mac is one of the best liked members of the Hi-Y. His car is usually packed with his many friends on their way to hear a good swing band. His Telegram Gazette job keeps him busy. Besides being a rhythm lover, Mac gt)es for photography. Dramatic Club 3; Stage Hand 4. Robert Max Buck A tender heart, a will infiexihle Bob is one of the most active members of our class. Besides being the President of the German Club, he has done a lot of work on the Red and Giay, and has each year been elected room coun- cilor. His pleasing manner makes him very popular. Bob has quite a large coin collection and is reported to be a good basketball player. Richard Francis Bussiere A merry heart goes all the day Windy works in Brockleman's store every day after school. He is quite a sportsman because he likes fishing, hunting, skiing, and skating, 'hen 'indy graduates he hopes to be a telegraph operator for the Boston Maine Railroad. He has a ready smile and is very good natured. Joseph Vincent Caputi CuhiintM i a great advantage Joe may be classified as an ambivert, that is, most of the time he can control his feelings and emotions. A broad viewpoint and good nature make Joe easy to get along with. Collecting all items on sports is Joe's hobby. His future lies either in business or architecture. Edward Carmen Carbone W herever you look, wherever you go, a better sport does not grow Eddy is a tall, good looking chap who enjoys dancing and was seen at most of the school socials. He has a sunny smile and cheery hello, which score a great hit with the fairer sex. His main interest seems to be music for he is an accomplished saxa|5hone player. Eddy wants to be an engineer. Orchestra 2. Richard William Card Ii and humor belong to genius alone Dick is the very eflicient manager of our tennis team. Although very small in stature, he is widely known for his practical jokes. Dick is manager-player of the Vi'est Fitchhurg football team in his spare time. Tennis 2, 3, 4: Basketball 2, 3. Romolo Salvatore Cataldo His smile was not more sunny than his wit Romolo is one of the class wits. He attended Revere High School until his senior year. Basketball is his favorite sport and he has the unique hobby of building different types of engines by use of an erector set. To enter the field of pharmacy is his ambition. Page 16

Antoinette Marie Brunetti It's in the heart and not the brain That to the highest doth attain Donay is another of our sports enthusiasts. She plays hockey, volleyball, and basketball equally well. Collecting pictures of her numerous friends is her favorite hobby. She is a member of our dramatic club and also a member of St. Anthony's Dramatic Club. For a career, Donay is planning to become a nurse. Basketball 2, 3, 4; Volleyball 2, 4; Hockey 2; Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4. Constance Ann Buck She was fair and never proud. Had tongue at will; yet was never loud Brown hair, brown eyes, smiling lips, and a gay personality, are Connie's outstanding characteristics. Although she worked almost every afternoon, she still managed to be an active member in many extra-curricular activities. Her favorite subject has been art, and she hopes to make it her life work. Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4. Beatrice Florence Bull A girl, light hearted and content, I wander through the world. Bea's a girl who cheers one up, because she's always smiling, rain or shine. She likes to collect nicknacks; also she belongs to a great many church organizations. Hiking and swimming are two of her favorite out-door sports. Bea has looked into the future and thinks that she would like to do biological work. 'Volleyball 2; Basketball 2, 3; Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4; Glee Club 4. Doris Mary Caouette Her quiet and unassuming manner Brings forth her pleasant ways Doris plans to attend Teachers College. Surely with the knowl- edge she has gained here, and her pleasing manner, she will be successful. Doris is one of our honor students, but she is not a bookworm, for besides her studies she plays the piano and belongs lo the dramatic club. Faustina Gwendolyn Capone Her gravest tnood could scarce displace, The sunshine on her lovely face Tina, a peaceful and amiable person, is one of our talented arlists. She harmonizes beautfiully with her singing partners. 'We can truthfully say that no matter what trouble comes her way, she will certainly sing her way out of it. Her pleasant personality makes her friendly with everyone. Volleyball 3, 4; Hockey 4; Basketball 4. Claire Dora Cardinal When I view the beauties of thy face I fear not death, nor dangers nor disgrace Diminutive Claire is one of our more serious students. She just loves to play basketball and has been one of the basketball stars since entering F. H. S. On Saturdays, Claire lends her charm- ing appearance to the Cottage Garden and thus keeps the money rolling in. Her life-long ambition has been to study nursing. Basket- ball 2, 3, 4; Dramatic Club 4. Jenny Mary Celona Dark hair, dark eyes — a pleasing combination Jenny blazes a trail from way up in that suburb of Fitchburg — Notown. That she is one of our more enthusiastic basketball and volleyball players is shown by her record piled up from her forgotten freshmen days. That little smile which is permanently fixed in her eyes is said to be due to a relapse caused from excessive laughter at the Bob Hope pro gram. Basketball 2, 3; Volleyball 2, 3; Dra- matic Club 4. Mary Chakemian True worth is in being, not seeming Although Mary is a rather reserved young lady, she is friendly and considerate and has many loyal friends. As a part-timer, she worked for Miss Mattson, who found her very capable. Mary should make an efficient secretary in some business office. Basketball 3. Page 15

BOULDER 1941 Phyllis Esther Chapman A sunbeam in a winter's day Phyllis IS a wonderful singer and both she and her friend Frannie often sing at church functions. She is a ray of sunshine and helps brighten up anyone's day with her cheery countenance. Col- lecting post cards is her hobby. Later Phyllis is going to enter the business world. Glee Club 4. Barbara Mary Charbonneau A happy lit le lass, youthful and gay Barb has what might be called a dual personality. In school, she seems quiet and has a sort of peace with the world attitude. Out of school, her high friendly spirits liven up any gathering. Barb's full of pep and because she has better than average ability in athletics, sports provide an outlet for some of her energy. Dra- matic Club 2, 3, 4. Gloria Mary Cioffi A smile for all. a welcome glad. A jovial coaxing way she always had Gloria excels in most sports. She is cheerful and has a lively personality. Her abundant energy leads her to participate in various sports. If ever a sport of any kind is mentioned, she always shows a keen interest. She also dotes on fun making. Volleyball 2, 3, 4 ; Basketball 2, 3, 4; Hockey 2, 3, 4. Althea Marjorie Comley To all her gentle smile extends Althea doesn't participate in school functions, but she is a faithful member of several church organizations. She has a large group of friends and is always ready to help someone who is caught short. Althea is going to be a governess. And if her past achievements are any indication of her ability, we are sure she will succeed. Grace Florence Condon Her smile is like a rainboiv flashing from a misty day Grace seems quiet and unassuming while in school, but once outside she is quite a different girl. She is lively and good-humored and consequently has many friends. Although Grace doesn't take school or anythmg else very seriously, she gets along as well as those who do. As for the future, Grace plans to be a bookkeeper or a stenographer. Mary Olive Copp A light heart lives long Mary is a friendly girl with a willingness to help. Carefree and talkative, Mary is a good natured and fun loving lassie. Draw- ing holds her interest and judging by her work in art, she is des- tined to become an artist. Eva Elizabeth Cormier To the pure all things are pure Eva's outward conduct and neatness convey a pleasant impres- sion. She is sweet and likeable, and her sunny disposition tends to radiate happiness wherever she goes. Eva finds enjoyment in roller skating. Geneva Mary Cormier Here's a jolly per on and there' no doubting that Geneva is a quiet girl in school, but she makes up for that outside. Her lovely, brown, naturally curly hair is envied by many girls. Attending the Turner Hall athletic classes and skating take up most of her spare time. Hockey 2. Page 1 7
