1941 John Delbert Baldwin He that is of a merry heart hath a continual feast Johnny's a Hi-Y member, whose fame has spread far and wide as a trombone player. Collecting items in music and science for his scrap book is his hobby. Dancing and playing basketball are two of his favorite pastimes. At present he is an elevator man, but he wants to work for the Telephone Telegraph Company. Band 2, 3, 4 ; Class Motto Committee 3. Curtis Horton Barrett The great end of life is not knowledge, but action Curt is a quiet member in school, but he puts plenty of noise into a football game. Besides being an excellent pigskin carrier, he plays a good game of basketball and baseball. Curt is very well liked by all his fellow students because of his good nature and friendly disposition. At present, his future is a dark secret Base- ball, Football 2, 3, 4. Edward Joel Barshak Ambition f the growth of every climb Edward, who used to be rather short, has gradually began to tower over many of his classmates. On Friday and Saturday evenings he may be found at the fruit counter of a well-known store. Since he is interested in a legal profession, perhaps someday we ll hear of h'm as a great lawyer. Frederick Adams Bauman All uho have done good work with their whole heart have obtained ucce Fred is one of the most brilliant students in the class. Frank Jason Bean Let u be known b) our deeds Frank is the happy-go-lucky friend of everyone. Few there are, indeed, who are not acquainted with his cheerful smile. Every week end he can be seen waiting on customers from behind Brockelman s v:getable counter. Music is Franks hobby. He sings and strums a mean guitar. To become an electrician is his aim. Robert Harold Bean Good nature ii a pecial charm. That wins a ho l of friends Bob collects pay every week for work as an usher at Shea's Theater. Always a gentleman, this good looking, well dressed boy is one of those who love the great outdoors. Hunting and fishing rate tops with him. As for the future. Bob just hasn't quite made up his mind. French Club 2; Dramatic Club, Latin Club , 4; Ring Committee 3; Councilor 2, 3, 4; Junior-Senior Reception 3. 4k Harold Stewart Beattie His good nature is a proper soil, upon which virtues grow Harold is one of the smaller members of the class. If he can grow to the required height, he would like to enter the Army. He was a home room councilor and an active member of the Dramatic Club. Dramatic Club 2, 4; Junior-Senior Reception 3; Councilor 3. Albert Joseph Belletete He who is honest is noble. Whatever hi fortune or birth Albert is another part-time student who works in the bank. For the future he plans to become a bookkeeper in a bank or office. His warm smile has won him many friends and we feel that his genial manner will aid him in securing a position. Page 12

BOULDER 1941 Dorothy Yvonne Arsenault like fun. like everyone Dorothy is one of the happy girls who walk to school every morning. Although she is not a participant in many of our school sports, she finds pleasure in other fields such as bicycle riding and hiking. Writing letters is often a hard task, but Dot enjoys doing this so much that she has made it her hobby. Hockey 2 ; Basketball 2 ; French Club 2, 3, 4. Marguerite Anita Basque Always light hearted and content Marguerite has large, brown, friendly eyes. Many study and lunch periods were spent working in the cafeteria. She has a nice voice and is often heard singing while at work. She is a member of the Girls' Center. Basketball 2 ; Hockey 2 ; French Club 2, 3, 4. Laura Pauline Battistella To know her is to love her Laura is a quiet and good natured girl. Gathering post cards and photographs takes up a great deal of her time. Laura has high hopes of becoming a nurse when she graduates from our high school, and her efficiency would prove to be a great boon to any hospital. Basketball, Volleyball 2. Beverly Ann Beer Laughing and gay and full of fun. She's ever ready when frolic's begun Bev with her beautiful brown eyes and her captivating smile is one of the prominent members of our class. She is athletically in- clined and excels in horseback riding and basketball. She is one of our most loyal supporters when it com:s to cheering for our teams. Bev's pride and joy is her big blue Buick which is always well filled with her many friends. Basketball 2, 3; Hockey 2; Dramatic Club 2, 3, 4; Junior Senior Reception 3. Agnes Marjorie Bellanger Fair thoughts and happy hours attend you Agnes very seldom lets anything worry her, which accounts for that familiar smile. She enjoys tap dancing an d her ability has already won her fame as she has danced before many audiences and also on radio programs. A keen sense of humor and a pleasant dis- position are two of her assets. Hockey 2 ; Dramatic Club 2, 3. Claire Geraldine Belliveau A maiden ivho is richly blessed with loads of friends and happiness Claire is a very quiet and popular girl around school. She has a great talent for drawing and hopes to go to an art school. She is also an athletic girl and takes part in basketball and volleyball. Basketball 2, 3, 4; Volleyball 2, 3, 4; Hockey 2; Councilor 2; Dramatic Club, Pep Club 3. Rose Mary Belliveau In sitnple manners all the secret lies Rose is a very quiet person who gets along with everyone. She is very active in school sports and plays basketball, volleyball, and hockey. Rose has a great desire to do newspaper reporting — a very hard and tiring task for a girl. Hockey 2, 3; Basketball 2; Volley- ball 2. Pauline Emma Berger In her tongue is the law of kindness Pauline's sense of humor keeps everybody around her in high spirits. Scrapbooks are her hobby. Pauline is interested in the Dramatic Club and in sports, particularly basketball. Skating at Coggshall fills some of her spare time during the winter. 1941 Bernice Bernstein Your hearts desire be with you Bernice is a small, quiet individual. She likes crocheting and knitting, so her hands are often put to good use in this way. She plans to do secretarial work in New York. In the afternoons, she works in the office of the Independent Lock Company. Junior Senior Reception Committee 3. Kathryn Elizabeth Bishop Let all things be done decently and in order Kay is part-time student who has been a very efficient secretary for Miss Dunn. More of her spare time is spent in caring for children. Collecting snapshots is Kay's hobby. She plans to take up either clerical work or child nursing. Dramatic Club 4. Doris Lea Blouin ''Enjoy the present smiling hour and put it out of fortune's power Doris is one of our more athletic girls. She likes nothing better than a good game with plenty of competition. Studies do not play a large part in her life. Her pleasing actions, and happy disposi- tion will aid her throughout life. Volleyball, Basketball 2, 3; Hockey 2, 3, 4. Milita Anna Boeckh Thou art Miialt. but thou shalt grow One of the smallest members of our class is Becky. She is a happy-go-lucky person who doesn't believe in spending too much time in studying. Painting is her favorite pastime and she does a good job of it. Becky would like to be a commercial artist. Gertrude Ann Bonnallie The gold of the moon in her hair, The blue of the evening in her eyes Gertrude is one of the quieter members of our class. She has great scholastic ability and amazes us with the seriousness with which she delves into her studies. We know that she will be suc- cessful in her work of nursing. Dramatic Club 4; Latin Club 3, 4. Rita Eva Bouchard Fair to look upon, nice to know Rita s dark eyes, with a smile lurking in their depth, tell of fun and gaiety even though she may look timid. Her pet hobby is collecting pictures of her friends and her favorite sports. The ex- perience that she is getting as a part-time student will aid her in secretarial work. Basketball 2, 3, 4. Ruth Virginia Brackett Tall and erene: (me a girl as erer was seen Ruth is just bubbling over wtih fun and good nature. Every morning she rides down from X'estminster, laughing and chattering all the way. We recommend her as an antidote to any class which is affected by a serious case of boredom. Martha Louise Brooks The village athlete you here will meet Brooksie is an ardent tennis lover, who spends much time on the tennis court. She is always willing to give advice to beginners.
