The Rollstone boulder is one of the erratic boulders brought down by the last glacier from at least one hun- dred miles north, and left on Rollstone Hill. Because of its interesting history and through the benevolence of Fitchburg citizens, in 1931 it was removed from its position there to a place near the Unitarian church and placed at the Upper Common as a memorial. Since it is a traditional landmark of Fitchburg and because a rock con eys the idea of strength and long life, the class of 1932 has thought it fitting to name their class book The Boulder. May our class be no more disturbed than if it were hard flint or a Marpesian crag. Dorothy Nurmi. 1 n 1932 TWO
