DHLMHR HOWARD DRAKE. “ I would it were bed-time.” Although Drake seems far from earth he sometimes wakes up to reeite in civics. He is a great friend of the girls who have their chemistry note-hooks made up. ETHEL AURELIA DERAGON. “In truth I know not why I am .so sad.” Ethel is a model of a good student. She does not say much; but she knows a good deal, as we saw in the recent debate, where she made a good showing. KATHRYN PAULINE DESMOND. “She has wit, and fun, and fire.” Kate sprang from the Day Street school, and brought with her a goodly supply of life. She can keep things going, and good-naturedly accepts any demerits which may fall to her lot. WILLIAM HENRY DOOLING. “I never felt the kiss of love, Nor maiden’s hand in mine.” William Henry is a quiet lad, but nevertheless he is there with the berries when needed.
