How can ninety-seven Get along without her? Singing praise to Heaven, . Chanting songs about her. No graduation da Bluster shall abuse her Even noisy Juniors Never can refuse her. There’ll be dames in muslin, And belles in pink and white. But Daisy’s a graduate Dressed in gold and white. She toils not, she spins not, She cannot read or spell. But with Ninety-seven She evermore shall dwell. A lesson take from Daisy — Modest and simple quite — Toiling not, nor lazy. But simply “out of sight!’’
