Dedication To the students of Fitch, Vaughn Mann has been more than just an excellent teacher and guidance counseloi He has been willing to extend himself to help. As a teacher he gave extra help after class whenever student needed it. Instead of treating it as a chore, he performed willingly and happily. As a guidance counselor, h meets the often impossible requests that accompany college applications with friendliness and understanding He takes an active interest in the students he councels and is quick to follow up on any problems and request they might have. As Alexander Pope said in his Essay on Man '; Thou wert my guide, philosopher, and friend. 28
