Board of Education FIRST ROW, left to right: Mrs. George Sossman, Mr. W. F. Scott, Mrs. A. W. Le wandrowski, Mr. Ralph O. Lewis. SECOND ROW: Mr. Jay S. Buckley, Mr. War ren L. Molton, Mr. Robert MacGregor. To The Class of 1960 One of the weaknesses which we have at times, is the tendency to take for granted, as factual, statements made by others seemingly au- thoritative. Many times the endorsement of such statements is due to a belief that the speaker, or author, knows what he is talking, or writing about; at any rate what he says sounds logical. If one can but have the time, and the facilities, in this busy life to search for facts, the result will be rewarding. The trip made by President Eisenhower to Europe and Asia, last Decem- ber, is an illustration of a man, who seemingly had at his disposal the most factual information regarding the conditions of our foreign relations. But, his desire to see and hear for himself, will make our world position more secure. Seek the truth, and the truth will make you free.' May your fondest hopes come true! Best wishes to you all. FREEMAN R. HATHAWAY Chairman of the Groton Board of Education
