SENIUR PRUPHECY Fisk Missouri May is, 1958 Dear Barbara, How do you like living in England' I am sure you like it very ueh but I am sorry that you were not able to attend our Alumni Banquet I thought I would let you know about what a wonderful time we had and tell you about our old classmates Remember how Dale Lane was always fixing his hair in crazy fashions Well, something came of it, believe it or not, because he is now a very successful hair stylist Odell Richman is the Fisk basketball coach and guess what' His team won the State Tournament this year Isn't that wonderful' Claudia Beck is now the manager of Woolworths on Grand and Ol1ve in St Louis Mary Alice Bell and Mary Massey had so much exper1ence in secretarial work when they graduated that they have formed a partnership and opened a secretarial school in Rom bauer Bill Branch has become a famous comedian, you've probably heard of him in England He is replacing Red Skelton on the 'CBS Comedy Hour' Eddie Crafford and Butch Gambill became stock car racers and are doing very well Of course, I think it's an awfully dangerous Job Marvin Miller couldn't attend the ban uet either because of his engineerin job in Hnerto Rico I hear that Don Boyd is his assistant but e must have taken a vacation because he was at the banquet Do you remember when Nadine Watkins used to work at Irene's Drive In at Poplar Bluff' Well, she owns and operates Nadine's Drive In at Junland, now Oh, yes, Carroll Plumb is her and Wanda Cunningham have become quite famous in the television world They have an hour long comedy program called 'Who Has More Fun Than People?' Virgie Watson has changed her name to Mrs Louis Wangler and Hazel Spurlock is married to James Weathers Kathern Hastings is thinking about changing her name to Mrs Leland Webb I guess you remember how Max Mattingly bummed around from place to place after he graduated He is now classified as the 'Professional Bum ' He has written many books on his extensive travels and has become a noted authority on traveling Adolph and Rudolph Stucker have opened a public accounting office in Ash Hill and have made a very thriving business out of it Kenneth Gambill is editor of the Fisk Daily American Democrat, and Don Kennedy is the sports editor Jerrol Patterson captivates his audience with his amazing mind reading ability Orvill Wilkerson has taken 'Cheap' Charl1e's place in the popcorn industry He is now known as 'Cheap' Orvill Gary Hayes has opened an exclusive night club in Dudley called the 'Four Way Inn and One Way Out' Darrol Parks is master of ceremonies in the club and Ethel Maize, Clarice DeCourley and Tiny McIntosh are well known singers who have a contract to slug at the club Alpha Jo Pyle has fulfilled her ambition to become a nurse She's mployed as head nurse at the Lucy Lee Hospital Shelby Lowe, who is now Hrs Lonnie Burris left for Florida a few days after the banquet She and Lonnie thought they deserved a vacation Lloyd Whitmer Frank Hayes, Bob Harris, and Leo Dillard entertained us by singing their latest hit song 'Voodoo Baby' David Linville has done very well for himself and the Linville Engineering Company Guess who his private secretary is?
