PROPHECY OF 1059 Before I start this so called prophecy, understand the reasons for this later The year is 1979, exactly 20 years from factured by Larry Poppenhagen, we begin our the time we approach the east side of town, let me extend my apologies, you will now Traveling in our nopmobile, manu journey at the west end of Fisher our gas gauge on the popmobile has reach ed empty Luckily enough we see a large neon sign 'Staff and Nigg's Repair Service Marvin Staff comes out to wait on us along with fourteen little ones, as we all know Nigg has only four We see a 1979 gold plated Cadillac parked next to the building, but inside in a glass showcase we see a l9hl Chevrolet whlch Marvin keeps to bring back the memories of the nights in Grand Forks As we leave Fisher, and enter the countryside we drive for miles and miles and all we see is sugar beets and more sugar beets Every fifteen feet we read a sign which in effect says nKeep Off Property of Gerald Belswenger We alvays knew that boy would go places As we drive through Crookston we see a flashy red convertible and close behind is the Crookston Police and who do they stop? None other than Richard Ross In our excitement of watching the episode between Richard and the police we almost ran into a pedestrian As we stop long enough to give him our hum ble apologies, we find he's our former classmate Orville Radi He informs u that h is now the proud owner of the nationally famed 'Radi Airlines We offer to drive him out to his airport which is located not far from there On the way he convinces us that it would be much safer to continue our iournev in his alrplane So we aband the popmobile and we are soon flying quite comfortably with Orville as our pilot After flying several hours, we stop for refueling at the Vinneapolis Tuniclpal airport As we enter the field we notice qmlte a confusion, after inouirlng we find there is a Presidential candidate leaving the field It so happened to be Dale S enson Cwait until Mr Wagner Hears about this? We re board our plane and within a matter of hours we are flying over the Atlan tic We notice a ship sending up SOS signal and who is sendinr them up? None PARTY'! After landing in Bern, Switzerland, we take a train up to the Swi s Alps after hearing that Angeline Kool tra found a wealthy cream can snle men and settled down with him The legend has it that Angie has now moved all her cream cans up to the Alps also Leaving Angie in her happy little abode we again board our train and continue on our way Our next stop is in Paris Here we see Elaine Peterson who now has be come quite a successful fashion designer It must have been that last year in Home Economics at Fisher High School which influenced her Our next stop is in Vienna As we tour downtown Vienna we see another large neon sign As we get a closer look we see it is Katharine Koolstra starrlng in a musical entitled HYOU'RE GETTING TOO PERSONAL' we decide it would be to our advan tage to attend the performance Leaving the theatre we go to the famed University of Vienna As we walk down the long corridor we see Houard Anderson instructing Charles Vig in Algebra Howard now a famed mathematician, has disproved Finstein's theories and other out of date theories Finding this almost beyond our comprehension, we once again find our way to the Vienna Airport We travel along at rapid speed when all of a sudden our plane seems to be having engine trouble We are told we are going to have to make an emergency As we once again reach the States we remember Bill Hollands is now at Las Vegas landing in the jungle of Africa we recall Harold Ross, now a mi sionary, has turn ed the wild jungle into a playground From Africa we leave for the continent down under We arrive at Sidney Read ing the paper we see where Jerry Gunstinson will be playing 1D Davis Cup Watches against Puncho Gundlavious We attend the matches, but seeing that Gunny has taken the way see and lead by such a margin and the outcome is certain we decided to continue on our since our next destination takes us over two thousand miles to Hawaii As we reach Hawaii we hear loud music Ve look out of our airplane wlndov and Yvonne Erickson now giving Hula Hula lessons It seems she bought a grass skirt in order to make use of it she moved to Hawaii and continued her teaching ca reer, however, in a somewhat different field Since we find ourselves in need of some excitement we decide to enter NWIILIFS GWLD FN NUGITN After spending some time with Bill we come again aboard our plane As we do so we notice ther has been a change of stewardesses he find that she is one of our very own clas mates Mary Ann Vurphy How she picked this for a career we will never know as stewardesses can't marry She informs us that Elaine Beiswenger is now teaching in a small country school in North Dakota It seems she married a tall, dark, handsome farmer who has qulte a chicken farm As we once again arrive in Fisher we realize we have been everyone in the class except Allan Erickson, and Allan we find in h1s exclusive office in downtown Pisher working as Humphrey's fan club manager.
