The Spamsh Czrcle This yeai s Spanish Club consists of twelve membels who are enrolled 1n thelr f11St year of the Spanish lang uage Oui flrst big project was decorating a Homecomlng Parade float which was based on the theme of a Spanish fiesta We were happy to come out on top with first prize among other competing floats Soon after the second semestei began we started working on our second project redecoratmg the Spanish loom This meant a lot of extra hours of work for us but hung a cab1net was reflnlshed and Spanish decals were put on the blackboards These and several other decora tions lent a more cheerful Spanish atmosphere to our classroom Candy which was made by the club at a party aftei school was sold at a very successful Bake Sale on March 27 Our next big activity was Wmmng first prize at Stunt Night on Apr1l 9 The entire club and Mr Moyer our sponsor took part in a l1V9ly Minstrel Show The final event of our year will be a Spanish banquet We ale proud of our record made thls year and hope that The Spanish Circle will continue to be an active club in our school for many years to come. we enjoyed doing it.
