What would college be without them? A little harder minus the textbooks and a whole bunch easier without the exams that have to be printed up. Did anyone ever wonder where they all come from. The Bookstore, of course. But who stocks all those shelves and buys all those Fisher Junior College pens! We could ask Santa, but he only shows up for the Holiday parties. Thank you so much. 50 Administration, Faculty And Staff ★ To the Class of 1985 Boston is often referred to as the Athens of the Western World, and well it has earned this epithet. Our predecessors of 1630 sought freedom, social enrichment, personal expression, and the opportunity to build a great society founded on the worth of the individual citizen. And so they did, and so they achieved. In their wake they left an abundant and rich heritage for our benefit, that we might partake and further nurish our modern world. Great theater, art, literature, and government have been conceived in the neighbor- hoods, buildings, and streets where you have come to study and be inspired. Every crossroad of our great city echoes its moment of history when it contributed to health, to education, to political and social reform, speaking to the yearnings of past and present Bostonians.
