To the Graduating Class of 1978: This year marks the 75th Anniversary of Fisher Junior College. It is an appropriate time to take stock of the accomplishments of the college and the productivity of our 75 years. In 1903, thirteen students had faith in a new college which, as yet, had no public image, no achievements, and no recognition. Seventy-five years later, this college is a recognized institution of higher education, a leader in the two-year college field, enjoying full regional accreditation and empo- wered to grant two-year degrees. Thousands of graduates testify to the quality of education they received. They reside responsibly and successfully in a wide range of business, industrial and personal endeavors. Your life pattern is much the same as a college. Yo u begin with no accomplishments and no achievements. Contributions from life experiences, agencies and institutions like Fisher Junior College, faculty, and family all contribute to the panoramic development of your life. Look now, today, and evaluate your use of the past years. Make plans now to use the coming years with wisdom and judicious application of your talents.
