MESSAGES In the future we shall look back upon these two wonderful years at Fisher Junior College as a delightful part of our lives. Since we have received our de- gree, we may thin k that our education has terminated; we must, however, ac- knowledge that education is a lifetime process and has only just begun. The College has laid before us the entire stock of its knowledge and the vast and varied experience of its teachers; that we should grasp at least some of this knowl- edge is Fisher Junior College ' s objective. We, the class of 1959, most sincerely urge the classes following us to take full advantage of the myriad educational opportunities and facilities available at Fisher. We want to extend to every underclassman the very best wishes for a happy and fruitful college career. Brenda S. Monroe President of Class It would take more than these pages of the Beacon to capture the many, many memorable events that have taken place in the short period of our life spent at Fisher. This yearbook will serve to stimulate our memory, and will be a symbol of the trials and tribulations of our education. We have shared many happy and difficult days; let us not forget these. Cherish and keep this book. In the years to come, it will be a source of great joy to look back on the many friends made, the knowledge attained, and the administration whom we have learned to respect. My sincere and deep appreciation to all those who have helped to make this yearbook possible. And herein we write the final chapter to many of our happiest days. Maureen J. Wright Editor of Beacon
