HEEL TOE, HEEL TOE The 1974-75 Findley High School Band and majorettes this season turned out many well put together performances. The majorettes put on performances in which if some people were music lovers they ask for an encore. Cindy Althaus helped add to the excitement and enjoyment as she was feature majorette. Not all people have that much coordi- nation. It takes a lot of work and they have to put much effort into it. These guys were determined and in the summer heat when we were swimming or enjoying the sun they were sweating their hearts out to make the people happy. If some of us live close to the school we can hear the windows shake from all that vibration of them tubas, horns, etc. They may get frustrated and angry when Mr. Koncik makes them do things for the 1000 and 1 time. But they stuck with things and worked hard at making the band a good one. Oh they probably had their bad moments. A few sour notes and all but they just kept on going like there was not even a mistake made but Mr. Kondik heard them. The band marched in parades, had a peanut sale to earn money for their own personal uses, and put on performances at the football games. But as the year went on you didn't hear to much of them because right now they're in hibernation for the coming year. You never know they may turn out a better year next year. Showing her music talent playing the flute is Deb Schultz. Ill pretend I didn't see that, replies the director of band Mr. Kondik. 'Put your money where your mouth is. says Kim Peters. 12
