Dedication ’83 The yearbook staff dedicates the 1983 edition of Crest to Mr. Robert Williams. Mr. Williams graduated from Ithaca College with a major in music education. Since coming to FCS in 1977, Mr. Williams has taught instrumental music, directed the Elementary Band, the Cadet Band, and the Concert (Senior) Band. He acted as Allegany County Chairman for the Senior High All County Band for two years in '80 and '81. Mr. Williams was especially instrumental in establishing the uniform fund for the Senior Band during his tenure at FCS. In addition to his duties as instrumental music teacher, Mr. Williams has been active in many aspects of school life at Fillmore Central. He was junior-senior class advisor for the class of '82, a post he held until this year when his wife, Ginna, succeeded him. Mr. Williams has served as vice-president of the Fillmore Faculty Association for one year and as president for the past three years. This past year he was a member of the newly established faculty liason committee. Thank you, Mr. Williams, for your many extra hours of service to the students of FCS. Please accept our best wishes to you in all your future ventures! 2

Point with Pride We point with pride to you, Mrs. Lily, secretary extraordinaire, in recognition of the sense of meticulous organization you bring to the secondary office, your cheerfulness, and your patience! We point with pride to you, Mr. Krause, our shop teacher and coach, in recognition of your many extra hours devoted to coaching girls’ varsity soccer, girls’ varsity softball, and junior high wrestling! Congratulations to you and the members of the girls’ varsity softball team for your exciting post season performances. It is largely owing to your special efforts in developing our girls’ varsity sports program at FCS that our team made it to the sectional finals this year. 3
