Mr. Eddie M. Husted, Superintendent Congratulations to you, the FCS class of 1980, as you achieve high school graduation and embark on your fu- ture. You are entering the main stream of life at a point in time when opportunities and choices that are open to you are more vast then ever before. As you set goals for yourself, whether they be immedi- ate short range objectives or life-long ambitions, it is im- portant for you to remember that it takes persistent ef- fort to achieve. Set realistic goals for yourself but aim high. Aim beyond what is within your resources and abili- ties at the present moment. As the old adage says, Be sure your reach exceeds your grasp. This is one way to insure personal growth and achievement. May you always be reaching toward a goal, and when you have achieved it, may you reach out again and again to the new and varied opportunities which life will offer.
