MR. KENDALL SENIOR ADVISORS MR. EHRHART CLASS HISTORY We started in kindergarten with fifty kids in our class. Up until the seventh grade we didn’t pay too much attention to whom we lost or who came into our class. During our seventh and eighth grades we had few activities as a whole class due to the fact that we had three homerooms. We added to our class Valery and Wayne Hotchkiss from Spencerport and Jo-Ann Mitchell from Buffalo. In our Freshman year, we added to our class Donald Hooper. This was the first year we nominated a candidate for queen. As the Sophomore year came around, all the homerooms were combined into the large studyhall. We chose our two advisers, Mrs. Pennington and Mr. Homa. We started paying our dues of twenty-five cents a week. Three of our classmates were put into the student council. Duane Armison from Churchville and Carl Schaffer from California have joined the class. After moving-up day on June 1, we had a class party at Letchworth Park. Our Junior year was a real busy year for us. Mrs. Pennington, one of our advisors, moved so we chose Mr. Ehrhart in her place. We were all thrilled when we received our class rings. The first dance was on Friday, the 13th, called “Superstition Swing”, followed shortly by our junior play, “Aunt Cathy’s Cat”. Our first prom, on May 15th, was called “Enchanted Evening”. Dianne Clouse from Buffalo, Micheal Schroeder from Bellfast, and Sandra Parks from Blackcreekhave now joined the class. We ended our year by having a farewell party for our advisor, Mr. Homa, at Rushford Lake. Now, at last, our senior year has come. We chose Mr. Kendall as our new advisor. “The Old Barn Dance” was our first dance of the year held on October 29. Our senior play, “The Line of Scrimmage”, was put on December 3. “Snowflake Swing” was the name of our last dance, held on December 11. We were happy to have join our class Anne Berg, a foreign exchange student from Norway. Jim Martin from Letchworth and Clayton Bentley from Angelica have also joined our class. All the good times in Washington and all of the other activities will never be forgotten by us seniors of “Old Fillmore High”.
