This year's lead players are Doug Fitz- gerald, saxophone, Janie Bostick, flute, Ricky Rickman, trumpet, Tom VVatson, baritone, David Moody, tuhag Butch Bradley, troznhoneg -lackie Holland, drum, and George Sherwood, clarinet. The hand also participates in the Eastern North Carolina Band Contest which is held on the campus of East Carolina College in March. Last year they received the highest rating possihle- Superior. The hand under the excellent direction of Mr. R. ll. Babelay is a credit to Pike and the City of VVilson.
