Other events in which the cluh participatecl cluring the vcar included: the erecting of a hooth at the County Fair, the annual lnstallation Banquet for officers and new mernhers, the Mother-Daughter Banquet at which five l7.ll.1X. degrees were awarclecl, and the State Con- vention in Raleigh. The main goal of the organization is to prepare young ladies for their future lives as hoinemaliers.
