We, the students of Fieldale High School, in order to create a greater sense of responsibility and co-operation among the students of our school, andto promote the general welfare of the school thus begins the S.C.A. Constitution of Fieldale High School stating the general aims of the student council. Through the council, the student body is able to participate in the management of school affairs, and by doing so, the student is preparing himself for capably accepting any challenge the world my present. SENIOR TRI-HI-Y The aim of the Tri-Hi-Y and Hi-Y Clubs is to develop per- sonal integrity and self-discipline, develop a growing sense of personal worth, based on Christian concepts and values, maintain a perspective in the world of shifting values, per- form useful home, church, school, and community services, prepare adequately for the responsibilities of the future, practice democratic methodsg co-operate with other groups of young people to achieve worth-while objectives, and to developan active and growing relationship and responsibility in the Christian church. 1 I '-asus-I 'Q Pictured abov e , Joyce Plaster is handed soft drink bottles by Barbara Chard. The proceeds received from the redemption of the bottles are used by the club in suchworth-while projects as buying food for a needy family and contributing to the Christmas Cheer Fund. 1'
