She ably carries out her responsibilities as secretary to the principal and has many, many times given us a helping hand for which we are grateful. So many jobs she has to do in a day, yet still takes times to be genial and amiable with others. OUR PRINCIPAL MR. RONALD L. ILER M. A., Western Kentucky State College In looking back over our last school year, we realize that many of the lessons that we learn in our life come to us wrapped up in the life of another person. We recognize Mr. Iler as one of these persons. His life is characterized by sincerity and steadfastness of purpose that makes no com- promise with anything less than his best. By these principles combined with qualities of enthusiasm for his work, his sensitiveness to the needs of our school, and his genuine per- sonality, he has set for us an example for a more meaningful way of life.
