, M5 . , I, As I was lying there in bed, tired but relaxed after a long day A of finals, I fell asleep and had a dream. In that dream I saw my ' classmates as they will be in the year 1975. ,QSM Bill Inman and David Bynum were still trying to get out of Miss qflafd Hoover's senior literature class. Jim Leonard was doing a good job of sweeping the sidewalk in front of Maxie's, while Jerry Wat- son was inside chalking cues. Doretta Bluejacket Karns was the 'Nv- owner of the Casa Del, and she was billing Marcia Hall as the star bubble dancer. Johnny Jordan was Cornel Wilde's stand-in in - Hollywood. Ted Scherer wasn't there, but someone mentioned seeing him at Traxson's, holdinlgl down the job as head soda jerk. Richard Medley, the heavy weig t champion of the world, was there with the newest sensation since Marilyn Monroe, Kay Han- son. Richard credits his success to the work-outs he had in Keller's third hour gym class. Vicki Parker was head car-hop at the Westerner, and Bob Yates was the owner. That explains x why she has risen to such a high position. Gayle Ward was teach- ing a class for red-headed girls. The class is known as, How to Keep Your Temper and Keep Your Man. Glenn Carlile was the Chief of Police, and he had Shirley Speck workin as the Po- lice Matron. Glenn was still passing out gum to his griends. Jane, otherwise known as Dinger Walterscheid, was still putting pennies in cigarette packages at Claussen's Mer- cantile. Carole Gartner was demonstrating Packards on the popular television show, I Love Three Men. Dolores Montgomery was the star of this program. When I awoke from my nap I knew I would be late to the graduation exercises. After all my hard work to graduate from Field Kindley in three years, I just couldn't be late. I jumped out of bed, put on my cap and gown, and ran like mad for school. I knew I was late, but I didn't really know quite how late I was until I saw that Sally Duckworth and Jack Litty had already arrived. I knew that when those two got anywhere first, I was really late! .. ff riff 1- f 9 We, the senior class, being of what is commonly known as sound mind, do hereby establish this to be our last Will and Testament: I, R. C. Young, leave my efficiency to get m work done to Jerry Doop. We, the seniors of fifth hour choir, leave a ten pound sack of bird seed to Mr. Crow. I, Larry Downey, leave to join the other Wild Geese. I, Linda Graves, leave my scattered brains for Liz Littrell to pick up. We, Gerald Christmore and Gary Tongier, leave CoachCurrie1 to Alphonso Tate, Steve Davis, and Tony Grubbs. I, Fred Meek, leave by popular request. I, Barbara Bentley, commit my diet chart to Jean Smoot. I, Sue Ann McMillion, bequeath to Karen Kelso my ability to try walking down the hall like Marilyn Monroe. We, the senior drum corps girls, leave to the junior two-somes our lover's lane outside the drum corps room. I, Norman Hastings, leave my safe driving ability to Vicky Kilcoyne. I, Bill Inman, leave my flirting ability to David Seaton. I, ,fibxwfx Jerry Bradford, leave Miss Norfleet in peace. I, David Bynum, leave 2-3 ' NESS my speaking ability to Larry Spencer. We, the senior Tillies, take -'S 2 with us the best athletes ever to tread the halls of C.H. S. I, Car- 'F ,,. lene Greer, leave my spelling ability to Jackie Isham. I, Bill Q, ,.. Metzinger, am not going to leave an thing, because it's doubt- -' ,p,,, E pzprhh ful that I'll be leaving at all.
