This select group was organized in I9-ll to fulfill the need for a serving unit. The NVaitress Club serves not only the school, but the community. The present membership is -H. Mrs. Ken- neth Cape. home economics instructor. is the sponsor. Miss Thelma McDonald is the assistant sponsor. This club. neatly uniformed and expertly trained, has served on many occasions and is highly recommended. Apart from the work. each girl enjoys her task and receives valuable experience. The sophomores were given a coke party on becoming members at the beginning of the school year. ln return. they entertained the l9-17-48 Waitress Club girls and their escorts at a formal Christmas dance.
