Basketball Team Congratulations! The Tigers deserve much credit this year for their greater success on the basketball court. This can be attributed to the strong school spirit of the students and the excellent direction of Coach Oetting. The students are proud of their team and its numerous victories. John Shoush, with his 20 points average, has led the team to many of its victories. Jim Funk and Jack Lovelace have also helped the team a great deal on rebounds. Quarterback John Summers brought honor to the squad by being among the top 20 scorers in the conference and rt. guard Wayne Renfro won the Festus CYC sportsmanship trophy. The squad lost the following seniors this year: John Shoush, Nick Borusiewich, Larry Frazier, Dan Reif-steck.
