The track team coached by Murrill Godwin and Harold Oetting took third place in county competition and fourth place in the Mineral Area. Of the seven major meets, Festus took one 1st place, two 2nd places, one 3rd place, and two 4th places. The first place was in a meet against Herky and Desoto on March 31, 1964. Festus won with 56 points, Herky was second with 53' 2, and Desoto last with 46!6. The coaches are Mr. Godwin ond Mr. Getting. Holligan, Vaughn, Wansley, Henderson, Jessee, and Pope are Festus' dash men. Gandler, Henderson, Roth, Wansley, Holligan and McGougan ore ready. Crump, O'Brien, and Kimberlain examine Roth.
