Attending Boy's State at Central Missouri Stote College in Warrensburg were John Shoush and Jim Funk. Students Participate in Summer Programs Diane Carrow attended a four week journalism workshop at Southern Illinois University. Bill Rouggly, Pot McNeil, and Terry Gibbs attended a Student Council Workshop at Missouri University in Columbia. Gerald Chappue spent seven weeks at the University of Missouri at Rolla in a science and engineering program. Kim Tharp, Beverly Oswald, and Pattie Tynes attended Girl's State at Stephens College in Columbia.

Lovelace, Mrs. R. Shoush, Mrs. R. Chap- pue. The Senior Mother's Club has been working hard. Their first project was to sell hot dogs at basketball games. The Junior-Senior Prom was their next chore. During the summer they sponsored tennis court dances, rummage sales, car washes, and stands at the carnival. They also sold candy, black pepper and vanilla, sold cokes at the City Band Concerts, and managed lemonade stands before the elections. Since school has started they have been busy selling Christmas cards and sponsoring a style show. They also sponsored a chili supper, pop concert, and the KXOK Disc Jockey-Festus Faculty basketball game. One of their last projects will be the Spring Style Show. Mother's Club Officers are Mrs. G. Althouser, vice-president; Mrs. G. Weg-mann, president; and Mrs. E. Vest, secretory.
