Mother Was a Freshman Bob Choppue and Alicia Jackson talk over the big question of, who is Abigail Fortitude Abbott? 21 Practice makes a play worthwhile. Discussion of college roommate for the coming year makes an expressive conversation. The Festus Senior Play, Mother Was A Freshman, was presented on the 5th and 6th of December in a half-round theater style setting. The play was a light comedy about life at Pointer College. The plot centers around the life of a freshman and how she complicated the life of her sophomore daughter. The play was directed by Mr. Terry. Final curtain call ends the evenings performance. Cheryl tells Carl what she thinks of his gift.

English Classes Use Team-Teaching Rooms English II uses teom-teoching rooms. The English classes are using the team-teaching rooms this year. These double-capacity classrooms can accommodate as many as a hundred students at a time when the partitions are folded back. Future plans will co-ordinate English and History classes in the double rooms. Mr. Terry explains English grammar and composition to Sophomore English Students. 22
