The Council is composed of eighteen members, six representatives from each of the three classes. Some of the highlights of the school year sponsored by the S.C. are Homecoming, the Student DJ. Program, the Canned Food Drive, the Bulb Shower, the Talent Show, and the student council Scholarship. Mrs. Genevieve Holligan, S.C sponsor, is also the County Council co-sponsor and a member of the MASC executive board representing the Southeast District. This year's Library Club is much more active than it has been in previous years. President Diane Carrow and her officers Diana Govero, vice-president, Marilyn Akins, secretary, and Janet Lucas, treasurer, have planned a full schedule of activities for the year. The club sponsored the annual book fair in November. This is a highlight of the school year. Much more responsibility has been placed on the student librarians this year. They are not only responsible for the upkeep of the senior high library, but also the junior high library. Mrs. Genevieve Holligan, librarian, sponsors the club. 17
