The Library . . . Center of Activity A library could not be complete withont a check out desk. The library, at the east end of the building, is a center of activity. Almost every organization in school has used the library for a meeting place. A supervised study meets every hour throughout the day and a study hall and library period meets from 8:00 until 8:30 every morning. An administrators workshop was held, October 10, with sixty administrators from this district meeting in the library. The library includes the book-stocks, the study hall area, the leisure area, the conference room, audio-visual and periodical room, two listening booths, Mrs. Holligan's office, the librarian's workroom, and the check out. The library hours are Monday 8:00 to 4:30, Tuesday 8:00 to 5:00, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday 8:00 to 4:00. Mrs. Holligen confers with students In her office. District administrators meet in library. Study Hall develops good study habits.

President Diane Carrow and her officers Diana Govero, vice-president, Marilyn Akins, secretary, and Janet Lucas, treasurer, have planned a full schedule of activities for the year. The club sponsored the annual book fair in November. This is a highlight of the school year. Much more responsibility has been placed on the student librarians this year. They are not only responsible for the upkeep of the senior high library, but also the junior high library. Mrs. Genevieve Holligan, librarian, sponsors the club. 17
