Participating The Student Council has chosen for its theme this year, Communicating is Participating. The council holds to this idea by participating in activities for the improvement of the school, community, and country. A committee was formed at the beginning of the year for the orientation of the freshmen. A Coketail Party was given for the freshmen before the school year. Committees are: Public Relations, Bulletin Boards, School Morale, Evaluation, Building and Grounds, Assemblies, and Special Committees. The Safety Committee had won outstanding awards in the state for several years. The Student Council is active in state meetings and summer workshops. It served as Vice-President of MASC in 1962. BEN DRAKE Student Council President Student Council representatives are: FIRST ROW - Bob House.
