We, the Publication Class of 1960-61, most affectionately dedicate this year's Tiger to the TEENAGER, that glorious period of life where everything is WONDERFUL or TERRIBLE; the time when girls wear a dyed to match skirt and sweater, a pleated skirt, a shirt-waist dress, tunic or a wescot, a bandstand skirt with knee socks to match. The hair styles of girls are changing from longer hair-do's to short ones; from the Page Boy to the Bob or Bubble, from the Pony Tail to the French Twist. The time when every boy wears sweaters and socks to match, corduroy suits with vests, ski sweaters, continentals and letter jackets, flat tops and princetons. There will be other times, but none like this; there'll be other ages, but none so wonderful, there will be other years but not so exciting.

OUR THEME FOR 1960-61 TIME: AN IRREPLACEABLE INGREDIENT The clock of life is wound bur once And no man has rhe power To tell just when the hands will stop At late or early hour Now is the only time we own Love — live — toil with a will Do not wait until tomorrow For the clock might then be still. NOTE: This poem was sent to us by Rubinstein, the violinist. It is inscribed in a uatch presented to him by the late Will Rogers. 4
