PRINCIPAL ROBERT L. SHOUSH, B.S., M.A. Mr. Robert Shoush was born in Macon, Missouri. He graduated from Kirksville State College in 1938. Mr. Shoush, his wife Mary Jane, and their two children reside at 1704 Hemlock St. Jane Ann is a freshman at Missouri University and John Robert is an eighth grader at Festus Elementary School. Our principal was located at Clarence Junior-Senior High as their principal and also a former coach before he came to Festus in 1957. In addition to being our principal, Mr. Shoush teaches a mathematics class each year. This school year he taught Geometry.

RALPH B. TYNES, SUPERINTENDENT OF SCHOOLS Mr. Tynes was born at Bell, Missouri, 48 years ago, and started teaching at Fesrus in 1939. He has been Superintendent of Schools since 1946. He graduated from Warrensburg State College with a B.S. in Education; and from the University of Missouri with a M.Ed. He has also done Post-Graduate work at Washington University. He has been largely responsible for the expansion of the limited facilities at Festus High School to meet the needs of the growing community population.

Our school board meets the third Wednesday of each month. It has published a booklet called Rules and Regulations” which governs its decisions and facilitates its work.
