ON CHALLENGING PROBLEMS AND PROJECTS The Student Council of Festus High School is an excellent representative factor of the student body. It actively participates in drives for the improvement of the school, community, and country. Representatives for the student government are chosen by the student body on the basis of their scholastic record, citizenship, and leadership. The young leaders take on many responsibilities when they are elected to Student Council. Each member is chairman or co-chairman of one of the many committees sponsored by the council. These committees are Social and Recreational, Election, Education, Safety, Awards and Ethics, Service, Buildings and Grounds, and Assembly. The Indian Assembly sponsored by Student Council. STUDENTS DEMONSTRATE TACTICS USED EVER SINCE EVE.” PETTICOAT OF THE PLAY Phil Govereau, David McClain Student Director, Bryan Roth, Ronnie Eisen-beis. The play, Ever Since Eve, a comedy in three acts produced by special arrangement with Samuel French, was presented December 3 and 4 by the senior class. The cast was doubled on the girls’ parts and consisted of Connie Ferebee, Elizabeth Keipe, Susan Weier, Martha Manley, Ella Mae Smith, Karen Tese- reau, Pat Godwin, Carol Abernathy, Jane Ann Shoush, and Karen Roehrs. Also participating in the play were Mike Mangan, Mike McNeil, Lyle Lehm-beck, Roger Resinger, Paul Ogle, and Tom Ogle. Playing the part of football players were Bill Cage, Neil Smith, Vic Uding, David Hanley, and Derol Thiele.
