The Festus High Mixed Chorus meets every Friday. They obtained a one rating in the District Contest at Cape Giradeau, Missouri, and were awarded a two rating in the State Contest held at the University of Missouri. The Shop Club is a newly organized extracurricular activity. It is under the sponsorship of Mr. Dugan, Mr. Clip-pard and Mr. Godwin. Only boys from the Practical Arts Department are members. They sponsor the annual tour of Industrial plants in St. Louis and in the County. An Open House is held each year to present their work to the public. It is under the direction of Mr. Dugan.
