Festus High Girls Glee Club is composed of fifty-five talented girls under the direction of Miss Virginia Atwell. Last year they earned a one rating at both Columbia and Cape Giradeau. They will again participate in the annual music festival at Cape Giradeau and if they merit a one rating they will enter State Contest at the University of Missouri. Under the direction of Miss Virginia Atwell they gave a Christmas Cantata, sang at the Candle Light Service, and attended the vocal clinic held at Herculaneum, Missouri. 16
