Student Council Promotes Ideals And Ideas. The Student Council of Festus High School has been very active this past year. They sponsored the retarded children drive and made a collection of canned food at Christmas. The committees were responsible for locker clean-up campaigns, helped to solve the parking problem, presented assemblies and the all-school movie, wrote a code of ethics, and had a public telephone booth installed. The Twirp Dance was held in February. It was sponsored by the Student Council.
