First Row, Going Up: Mary Helen Statler, Suzanne Bolgar, Mrs. Castleberry, Judy Bolle, Audrey Klein. Second Row: Gary Holt, Kenneth Aubuchon, Barbara Vogt, Jim Yost, Pat Walton, Bill Hewitt. Regina Weber Mark Weber Billie (Isabel) Weber Mabel Hyde Professor Dodenhoff Orville (Punk) Gray Push Pringle Bird Brain Charley (Charley) Craig Dorothy Mattingly Cookie ----Barbara Vogt ------Bill Hewitt .— Suzanne Bolgar ------Pat Walton Jim Lindenberger -------Gary Holt -------Judy Bolle Mary Helen Statler Kenneth Aubuchon ---- Audrey Klein ---------Jim Yost The excitement and comedy of the play Out on A Limb”, is centered around Billie Weber. Billie is eighteen years old and an enthusiastic member of the S.P.P. — Society for the Prevention of Parents. Billie and her friends. Push and Bird Brain are typical teenagers who are seeking to eliminate parenthood. Everything gets off to a big start when Charley Craig, a handsome new boarder in the Weber home, admires Billie’s sketch for greeting cards and suggests that they take samples to the county seat to obtain a license to sell them. Punk, the jealous boy friend, sees Billie and Charley driving away from the Weber home with an overnight case ... a wedding cake is delivered to the home by mistake . . . Billie leaves a note telling her parents that they will be surprised when she and Charlie return . . . and so naturally everyone believes they have eloped. The excitement and tension of waiting with flowers and rice for the return of the happy couple, added to the humor of Punk, the anxiety of mother, and a sub-rosa romance between Aunt Mabel and Professor Dodenhoff make the play end with a flourish.
