Jieya’ and Qvda,’ Slate The 1957 Boys' and Girls’ State was held at Columbia and Warrensburg this year. Students attending Boys' and Girls' State, sponsored by the American Legion are chosen by the faculty. These students must be members of the Honor Society and are chosen for their scholarship, leadership, ability and character. Because of limited facilities, Festus was able to send only one girl and two boys. Students, o fl the Month, Junior Rotarians are chosen to attend the meetings of the Rotary Club every Tuesday of the month. The students were chosen by the faculty according to their dependability, loyalty, leadership and capability.
