To Alumni Mr. R. Winthrop Johnson graduated from Festus in 1925. He has served faithfully as a member of the Board of Education since 1942 and as its president since April 1944. Much of our progress has been made under his leadership. Mr. Charles Vogt was a graduate of the Class of 1934. He has served as a member of the board since 1952. A graduate of the Class of 1926, Mr. Charles Dreyer, who is also mayor of Festus, has served as a member of the Board of Education since 1947. Mr. W. E. Evans has served with the board since 1950. He was a member of the Class of 1927, the first class to publish an annual.

Dedication This Thirtieth Anniversary Tiger is dedicated to all the Alumni who have graduated from Festus High School since 1915 (when 4 members graduated from Alma Mater) especially those Alumni who have given many years of service to the betterment of Festus Schools. Our first Alumnus is Mr. Howard Litton who graduated in 1927 and taught in the High School in 1937. He returned as Cooperative Education and Guidance director in 1951. Miss Louise Roberts graduated in 1918 and has given 37 years of service in the Festus Grade Schools. Mrs. Dick Maloney (Dorothy Horn) graduated in 1927 and returned to her Alma Mater in 1930. She is completing 25 years of service this year. Miss Regina Puckett was a 1924 graduate, who returned to Festus Schools to teach in 1926. She has given 31 years of service. Miss Margaret Stewart of the Class of 1920 has taught in the Festus Grade Schools since 1921. She has taught here for 25 years.
