Carol Nanney Margie Aubuchon Foreword 30th Anniversary Edition Since the first annual, which was called THE PIPER” was published in 1927, about 1650 students have graduated from Festus High School. One hundred seventy-three students had graduated from Festus from 1915 to 1927 before the first PIPER was published. The name of the annual was changed to THE TIGER” in 1945. On this, the anniversary year, there are 113 seniors who expect to become alumni. We have attempted to find information about all our graduates, but have failed in some instances. The results of our research are rewarding in that so many Festus High School Students have attained success in their chosen fields. We hope that you will enjoy this book and forgive any omission. We have made an attempt to find out about every person but many seem to have lost touch with Festus people. We wish to thank all those people in Festus who have helped us, especially Mr. Fred Fitzgerald, Mrs. Helen Brooks, and Mr. John Peterien. Tiger Editors, Carol Nanney Margie Aubuchon
