ADMINISTRATION Hr. W. L. Pulliam superintendent of the Festus Schools for the past thirteen years, teaches algebra. He studied at Southeast Missouri State Teachers College where he received his B. S. and did graduate work at Washington University and George Peabody College, and received his M. A. from Peabody in 1939. Mr. Sidney LaRose, Secretary to the Board of Education and to the superintendent of schools, attended Missouri Business School, Colorado State College of Education, University of Washington, and Washington University. Mr. Harold Ulbricht, principal and instructor in mathematics, received his B. S. from Missouri University. He did graduate work at the Illinois University and Missouri University and received his M. A. from Missouri University in 1937. Mr. George Bennett, president of the Board of Education, has been a member of the board- since 1921. Mr. Bennett is a foreman in the ware room of the Pittsburgh Plate Glass Company. Mr. Herman Poscfr was blected as a member of the school board in 1939. Before ho retired, he was proprietor of the Ben Franklin Store in Festus. Mr. H. E. Vaughn has been treasurer of the school board for over 25 years. Mr. Vaughn has an insurance agency in Festus. Mr. Louis Bequotte, vice-president, has held this position since 1939. Ho has been a member of the Board of Education for four years. Mr. Bequotte is an agent for tho Metropolitan Life Insurance Company. Mr. Harold McCormack has been on the school board since 1929. Mr. McCormack has a bread route and also is a distributor for the Silver Soal Soda Water Company. r Vf • E. W. Rose was elected to the Board of Education three years ago. He is in the purchasing and receiving department of the Pittsburgh Plato Glass Company.

FACULTY Mr. Melvin Besand, instructor of science, has a B. S, from Southeast Missouri State Teachers College. Miss Helen Manley, instructor of vocational home economics, studied at Southeast Missouri State Teachers College and Missouri University. She holds a B. S. degree from Missouri University. She has done graduate work at Iowa State University and the University of Colorado. Mr. Melville Skoog, coach in athletics and instructor of social science and physical education, holds an A. B. from Gus-tavus Adolphus College, Ho has also dono graduate work at the University of Missouri and tho Univorsity of Nobraska. Miss Elizabeth Gamol, instructor of speech and journalism, rocoived a B. S. from Southoast Missouri State Toachors College. Miss Gamol did graduate work at tho Univorsity of Wisconsin. Miss E. Fern Groen, instructor of English, studied at Southwest Missouri Stato Teachers Colloge and holds a B. S. from Missouri Uftivorsity. She has dono graduate work at Northwestern Univorsity, Missouri Univorsity and George Peabody Collego for Toachors. Sho received her M. A. from tho University of Missouri last summer. Mr. Wayno Nicholson, who toachcs science, was graduated from Central Collogo with an A. B. and has dono graduate work at Ohio State Univorsity. Mr. H. F. Rosonstongel, instructor of manual arts, attended Southoast Missouri Stato Teachers Collogo, Flat River Junior Collogo, the Univorsity of Missouri, and Washington Univorsity. Miss Pearl Jacobs, librarian, attended school at Contral Collogo at Warronsburg, Missouri Univorsity and Washington Univorsity. Miss Evolyn Keller, instructor of social scionco, holds a B. S. from tho Southoast Missouri State Toachers College. Miss Margaret Ray Vinyard instructs English and Latin. Sho has a B. S . from George Peabody Collogo for Toachors,and has'dono graducto work there. Mr. Walter P. Boon, director of music, has a B M. from Wolt-nor Conservatory of Music in St. Louis and an A. B. from William Jowoll Collogo. Miss Georgia Marie Jonos, commercial instructor, has a B. S» from the Southwest Missouri State Touchers Collego.
