Ferrum Has More Then Meets The Kye In the midst of the Blue Ridge Mountains lies Ferrum College, a school like no other. Even though Ferrum is a Methodist college, the stu- dents come from a wide vareity of backrounds. Ferrum is a small school, but the students and faculty come from all over the United States and other parts of the world, to learn and work to- gether at Ferrum. In an outsider’s eye, Ferrum College may seem to be nothing more than a few structures thrown together in the middle of no- where. But what those people fail to see are the hundreds of smaller things that go into making Ferrum a top-notch school. For example, does a visitor to Ferrum College see the loyalty and dedication of a highly trained faculty who really care about the students? The professors of Fer- rum College will help you out whenever you are in doubt. At what other school can you sit and have coffee with your professor and just shoot the breeze? 4 Introduction
