Observing the Bicentennial Year, his theme was HA Nation Under Godw. Bish- op Goodson stated in his speech that people were so enthused about celebrating the Bi- centennial that many had lost its true meaning. His message conveyed the feeling that if the United States was a nation under God, the Bicentennial would be more mean- ingful. fm? 17
