Those who inspire and instruct us are . . ar 9jres1bf2nf Ferrum Junior College is now entering the second half century of its history, and there is on the campus a deep awareness of our debt to those who blazed the trail over which this institution has traveled. In the afterglow of the first fifty years, the College stands ready to face the responsibilities of its second half century with firm resolve and high dedication to make this College the best Junior College in the Nation. You, the class of 1965, are the ones who have built the bridge on which we cross from one half century to the other. As you leave our portals-to go on to great- er achievements, we shall count on you to hold high the banner of idealism which Ferrum has striven to instill into each of you. We shall count on those of you who remain with us for another year to set an example for those who will be entering in the session of 1965-66.
