Superintendent? Message ws sm 1 --we ,Y A -'-' f A WMMW hi ,. - - -V f -717,515 .r:,s,.'.,: Mayl offer my sincere congratulations to the mem- bers of the Senior Class of 1956 for having completed your high school course of study. You have completed the requirements for college entrance and possess the necessary tools of learning to assume training along some technical field of endeavor. I trust you will con- tinue your education without delay, fcr it is necessary that you prepare yourselves to assume your responsi- bilities in the complex society in which you live. It has been a genuine pleasure to have worked with and for you the past four years. May God bless you in your efforts, direct you in your work, and keep the close friendship between classmates, friendship between pupil and teacher, and friendships which will endure through the years, long after you are graduated. Sincerely yours,

PrincQDal's Message I To the Students Ferris High School Ferris, Texas Dear Friends: As the school year 1955-56 draws toward a close, l wish to express my sincere appreciation to each of you boys and girls who have endeavored to follow the principles of right conduct - hence true democratic living - in your day-to-day school life. We are fortunate to live in a country where so many free- doms aboundg however, we are sometimes prone to mistake our freedom for personal privilege which may infringe on the rights of others. My wish for you is that you may be alert, lest you unknowingly hamper another's freedom through care- lessness, thoughtlessness, or neglect. Remember the great commandment, 'love ye one another. Through unselfish living we shall achieve a happy, abun- dant life. SiJlCel'B1V, John M. Redd, Principal
