FUTURE FARMERS' JUDGING TEAM Ferndale FuTure Farmers were well represenTed in The l935 l'TumboldT CounTy Fair, which rnarlced The beginning oT The new FuTure Farmer Division, FuTure Farmers' Judging Team. The Ferndale ChapTer won over one hundred dollars in premium awards, besides many ribbons and oTher Trophies. A Tew oT The Ferndale members who showed live- sToclc were Ray Olsen, Harry Tonini, RoberT Tonini, Leslie Hendrickson, Cecil Jo Hind- ley, George T-lindley, Carrol BryanT, Joe Godinho, MarTin Barri, and KenneTh PeTer- sen. The boys also won many TirsT places in The Farm Mechanics class. ln The judging conTesTs Ferndale Tared very well. The Farm Mechanics Team, composed OT Jay Dinsmore, Lloyd STone, and Gerald Nicholson won TirsT place. The PoulTry Team oT George A. l-lindley, Charles Trigg and AlberT WhiTe won second place. The LivesToclc Team, wiTh Cecil Jo Flindley, Lloyd STone and Gordon Crane as members, won Third place.
