Being a teenager in high school is a combination of things. We want to be successful, but what does this mean? For us at FHS, it means always striving to do our best whether it be in our academic pursuits, jobs, athletics, family lives, extra-curricular activities, or just relaxing. 1988 is an Olympic year. The athletes who have practiced and progressed for four years will finally get the chance to show the world all that they can do. These years have prepared them to meet the final challenge just like our years at FHS are preparing us for life. Both the Olympics and this period of our lives are about courage and determination. 1988 has been a year where we’ve pushed ourselves. We’ve had our glorious victories and our painful defeats, but just like the Olympic athlete, they’ve made us stronger. When we look back on 1988, it will be obvious .ha, we were GOING fQR QQiPf 17
