30 Eagle presses on The Eagle’s feathers took quite a ruffling this year, but members of the staff tried their best to smooth things out. At the beginning of the year there was no faculty adviser to supervise the arduous task of producing Ferndale’s bi-monthly publication. In spite of this, some members of last year’s staff managed to produce a Homecoming Special Edition. Second semester, Mrs. Gerry Kulick stepped in. Although not a teacher at FHS, she volunteered to work with students on the newspaper as an extra-curricular activity during the lunch hour. The Eagle staff, under Mrs. Kulick’s guid- ance, planned a Senior Edition, and North Central Edi- tion. Above right: Victor Morris and Darryl Vennard touch up a layout.
